I didn’t hate the second John Wick when I saw it in theaters back in 2017; I just didn’t love it. I made me want to campaign for Common to be the next Black-action movie star. I was excited by the end because of where the next chapter would begin. John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum opens moments after John Wick became the most-sought-after man in the hit-man (hit-person?) underworld. Our beloved Halle Berry becomes his main ally in the film that will be in theaters May 17, 2019.
