I didn’t like Bad Hair or his first film, Dear White People, but Justin Simien‘s show has consistently been good and I expect nothing less but a compelling final season. The fourth volume is coming soon to Netflix now that filming has resumed and completed. There are some serious topics that might trigger some trauma throughout the college-based series, but the plots are stretched out enough to give each situation room to live and end in satisfying conclusions.
And if you can handle this show, I also recommend Woke on Hulu. No pressure to watch, think of your mental health. Enjoy!
