I haven’t really kept up with Big K.R.I.T. in a while. I see new music from him pop up here and there, but it’s on me for not paying closer attention, meaning I haven’t posted about him in a minute (basically since he went independent).
Here’s a random nappyafro fact: Big K.R.I.T. has TWO albums on nappyafro.com that received 5 out of 5 ratings, aka classic status. (Mind you, I didn’t give those ratings, but we don’t have to get into all that.)
All that being said, I saw he dropped a new video for his track “The Mileage,” and I liked it a lot. K.R.I.T. is still making the exact kind of quality music he wants to make. The minimalist visuals put the focus on the artist while also highlighting one of Big K.R.I.T.’s long-time obsessions: Cadillacs.
