  1. Great show concept. I’m really surprised y’all kept it at an hour. Surprised to not hear any mention of New York albums since this was mostly focused on the 90’s. I would have liked to hear what was A Tribe Called Quest’s best album. Based on Midwest affiliation, I’m surprised Saule Wright didn’t bring up Twista’s Adrenaline Rush for undeniable classic.

    1. Thanks man. Yeah, I mean we just picked some, soo many more could have been named. I’d say Twista’s wasn’t classic even though I really really like it, I just don’t feel classic from it. You should leave us a message for your post 2000’s bruh!

  2. EPIC episode of the frocast. Some of the albums that we’re mentioned about being classics I can agree like OutKast’s 1st 3 albums, UGK’s Ridin Dirty, Goodie Mob’s Soul Food. As much as I enjoy 2Pac’s All Eyez on Me album, King Jerm did make a valid point about some songs on that could been taken off of there like What’s Your Phone Number and Run Tha Streetz. And I disagree about Reasonable Doubt being a boring album. Overall, like I said, an EPIC episode. What do y’all think about the first 3 albums by A Tribe Called Quest? Do y’all think the first 3 albums by them are classics? Just something I thought about.

    1. Not a big ATCQ fan. I like some songs, but only one album i care for as a whole (midnight marauders)

    2. I’d give Low End Theory that nod, but the other two, not so much. I really dig MM but I don’t know that I’d call it classic.

      1. Okay. And I won’t argue about that at all. To me, I like the Low End Theory, but I love the Midnight Marauders album, so I’m gonna have to say the MM album.

  3. Thanks for B-Easy mentioning “Super Soul Sis”. I’m still listening, but that’s a high-water mark, so far.

  4. Great Show as always. The end was hilarious when you guys didn’t know whether the show was still being recorded. One thing I take issue with.Your credibility must come into question when you guys bashed that Makaveli album and then had the nerve to claim Master P had a classic album.Master P!!Thats what we doin now.Bottom line is this, you guys are the only people I have ever heard diss that album. That album may not be considered a so called audio classic but its definitely a cult classic along with Me Against The World and All EyeZ on Me.Next week when you guys talk about the post 2000 classics spread it out a little more. You can’t just post up in the south and ignore the rest of the world.I will call in with my picks and hopefully they will be discussed on next weeks show.Again great show this week fellas keep up the good work.

    1. Thanks man, and I think we all agree that Pac had at least 2 cultural classics as I call them….but Jerm was the only one said that Master P was classic lol. He also said it was cultural though so you may wanna holla at the kid about that one. LOL@post up the south, gotta look at the crew man, 2 guys in the south, 2 guys in the midwest (in or from). Had we been all NY. Had we had more time, it would have been broader so yeah, while I hear you, there are always factors ya know?

      1. Smh Saule… Pac only had two cult classics? Ask any Pac fan about his albums. I’ll say “Strickly 4 My Niggaz” isn’t classic but it is good yet not great like his first album and albums after before his death. That’s how great Pac is, he still being mentioned right now after being dead since 1996. College courses being taught about Pac music. That’s major…. You won’t see Chief Keef, or Q-Tip being praised like Pac is. How can you bash Makaveli album that shit is so ill and the production is still ill. I guess you mad because he dissed Jay-Z on the album. As for Master P I think Ice Cream man & Ghetto D is a classic. Geto Boys “The Resurrection” is a classic album to me along with “Grip It On Another Level”. Nas “It was Written” is classic and his best album in my opinion.

        1. *looks around* was all this to me? Cause we had 3 other niggas that said way more about Pac and his albums than I did lol.

          1. They are haters too and they know it. If Pac suck so bad he wouldn’t be praised like he is in hip hop. He is all of you guys favorite rapper and he is definitely your favorite Saule. He is way better than Rakim… I’ll say that in New York believe that especially in a barbershop in Harlem

          2. It’s not a story, it’s real shit mane. He is your favorite rapper not only because I said it but you know it’s true. All you’re favorite rappers look up to him. How can you put Paid In Full as classic? That album is boring as paid programming on late night television.

          3. Lmao. My nigga you always talk about ppl praising this nigga in Hip Hop but this is a Hip Hop site and you are the only one who does this (by the way I’m back). Let this mans soul rest in peace. If he was alive today he wouldn’t be top 5 doing it now.

          4. How do you know what he would be doing if he was still alive? Also Pac did say before he died he wouldn’t be rapping anymore but focus on movies and directing….. Dub you live in a small world because if you check other hip-hop websites ppl praise Pac a lot. You know like I know, people will kill people for disrespecting Pac.

          5. Lol I don’t know what he would be doing but I know what his talent would allow him to do and he would be very reatrained. There are othe Hip Hop sites that praise Pac, like MTV. Lol wtf. Who cares about some of these bullshit websites.

I don’t know anyone who would really kill for Pac….. Watch this….. FUCK 2Pac.

            I bet I don’t get touched!!!!

  5. GQ Blu! Are you serious? That album would have been talked about like crazy if Pac released it when he was alive. You’re bugging. Just with him dissing Jay-Z, Nas, Bad Boy and others are just legendary alone. You said Makaveli will get lost in the shuffle? WTF…. Oh yeah B-Easy wrote a while back about Makaveli being a classic album and now he say it isn’t a classic. SMH I just don’t understand. How Do U Want It is a classic song! I still jam to that shit. Omg you said “Thug Passion” is terrible? Wow you are bugging B-Easy. You’re my dawg and everything but dammit. Man I just don’t understand how you guys slander Pac like that. People mad because Pac stood out from the rest of the artist back then and now. Nobody rapped like 2Pac back then he was the first to rap the way he did and he was the first rock star in hip hop. We can argue and say Run DMC but no…. Pac was. I’m speechless…. “Heartz Of Men” is garbage? Are you serious King Jerm? Dammit you guys tripping hard. Wow. I wish I was on this episode to dispute this.

  6. Omg REDMAN don’t have a classic? Wow ya’ll are tripping hard! That song Jerm mentioned about Redman is called “Creppin” yes that song is the best on the Muddy Waters.. That’s for sure. Redman produced that beat by the way.

  7. Smh how can ya’ll sleep on B.G. like that dude always came with that heat especially back in the day. Dude held Cash Money on his back mane. He was selling 200,000-300,000 units independently from 96-97 (Chopper City, It’s All On U Vol 1 & 2). If it wasn’t for B.G. there wouldn’t be no cash money besides Mannie Fresh, Juvenile & UNLV for making CMR big underground… Ya’ll need to listen to Chopper City & It’s All On U series, dude was spitting some real street shit.

  8. Outkast Southernplayalisticadilacmuzik isn’t their best work. It’s good but I don’t think it’s classic

  9. Jay-Z Reasonable Doubt isn’t classic. “Brooklyn Finest” sampled Kool & The Gang… Hard Knock Life Vol 2 is better. My Jay-Z classic albums are Vol 2, Blueprint 1.

      1. They aren’t classics in my opinion. You haven’t even listen to Chopper City that’s the funny part. I listened to so many albums during my lifetime, you just skim through it.

  10. Warren G album isnt classic but its good tho. He used the sample for super soul sis much better on 2Pac how long will they mourn me. Also kokane released the first gfunk album early 92 with above the law on ruthless. Warren & Dre wasnt first. Im calling for the 2000s era fa sho
