Between terrorizing #SD CC and promoting Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Black Panther, Oscar winner and B-Easy‘s ol’ lady, Lupita Nyung’o stars in the black and white short film to Jay-Z‘s bonus track, “MaNyfaCedGod”. Per usual, the visual is sans the rapper and focuses more on the message in the images than the actual song. Francesco Carrozzini directs the Mexican-Kenyan actress as she does her best Misty Copeland impression in this classic story of fighting for love.

I wonder if Beyonce is thinking, “I told Jay I did a song with James Blake, next thing I know he got a song with James Blake”. Enjoy as I continue to wait on a video for “Marcy Me” or the Netflix crime heist film starring Lupita and Rihanna as scammers, written by Issa Rae and directed by Ava DuVernay. Whichever comes first.
