Any day when we get some inspired verses from Nasir Jones is a good day. God’s Son jumps on the remix to Gil Scott-Heron’s track “New York Is Killing Me”. I remember hearing this on I’m New Here (An album that I wanted to like so badly) and I’m happy a worthy rapper got to it.
Sidenote: The title of this track is ill because I did go to New York one time and I almost got killed. No lie…
