Yea, you don’t see a “[Review]” at the end of that title up there for a reason. That’s because while I’m a huge fan of The Roots and Wake Up! is a good album, it only has like 4 to 5 rap verses on the whole album. So unfortunately, Wake Up! won’t get reviewed here at nappyafro.
But, it did get reviewed by our younger, more mature, R&B loving sister site Soulections.com (I’m gonna keep calling it that until it catches on or someone tells me to stop). Shout out to Saule Wright!
