Off the bat I’ll go ahead and admit that this isn’t the greatest Freddie Gibbs‘ song. It’s good, but not even in the top 20 of Gangsta Gibbs songs. But if only to help announce that Cold Day In Hell is (finally) dropping on Halloween, well then this song deserves a post.
Over a high tempo Olympicks instrumental, “Let ‘Em Burn” has the Midwest Malcolm showing that there’s still room for raw gangsta music in today’s Hip-Hop. Burn motherfucker burn.
