Three Good Horror Movies To Watch For Halloween

Who says you have to wear a costume for Halloween? You can be like me and do the minimum participation and watch a few horror movies. To help, I’m not gonna list my 20 favorite horror movies or top monsters/slashers; just 3 goods films for check out. Of course, you can leave suggestions of your own in the comments section.

V/H/S (2012)

I understand if your tired of found footage movies, but V/H/S does it with a twist. It also may be my favorite horro of the year. It’s a series of found-footage shorts directed by various directors and because of that you get various kinds of horror (From creatures to the Blair Witch).

Cabin In The Woods (2012)

This movie kinda snuck up on me. It’s a damn shame the trailer gives away major plot points because it’s definitely not the “group of attractive teens go to the cabin” slasher film you expect. It’s also co-written by Joss Whedon so that may explain a lot.

Trick ‘r Treat (2007)

One of my favorite horror movies is Creepshow 2; to me Trick ‘r Treat is the modern day successor to those types of movies. It’s not only a well-made horror movie but some think it’s one of best horror movies of all time.
