Albums That Were Overlooked By The Grammys

The-Stoned-Immaculate

Curren$y – The Stoned Immaculate (June 5, 2012)

This pick can be argued to me, I don’t think it is classic or five star worthy, but Hot Spitta delivered a cohesive major label debut album. The subject matter delved further than the usual weed and clothes talk. “Chasin’ Paper”, “Chandelier”,” and “Showroom” may seem like shallow song titles but themes of all these songs are relatable to anyone that has seen the effects of money altering their lives, had a relationship fail because of work and focus on other matters, or needed motivation for monetary gain.

“I like nice shit and I know how to get it. Hustle, dumb ass, it’s not rocket science or quantum physics” – Curren$y on “Showroom”
