Angel Haze
I like Diamond, I really do. Even in 2013, when her part on “Knuck If You Buck” comes on, I get hype, but I can not stand to see her nominated for Best Female Hip-Hop artist at the BET Awards anymore. Thankfully, I believe the category while have a new entry this July. Ms. Haze introduced herself to TV by appearing in the BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher. The blogs fell in love with her after listening to her gruesome depiction of her experience with sexual abuse at the age of seven with her cover of Eminem’s “Cleaning Out My Closet” off the mixtape, Classick. She has experienced her share of controversy by becoming the latest enemy of Azealia Banks after a simple misunderstanding on Twitter but has already shown remorse and regret for her actions. For those that need further proof of her lyrical ability, check out her mixtapes, King & Voice, but for evidence that she can make songs, create a full project with a message for her listeners to overcome obstacles, listen to her EP, Reservation.
