The beautiful singer from Toronto was quiet at the end of last year, but not before she made some noise in the beginning of 2012. While “4 AM” did come out in 2011, it was still a record big enough to promote her superb sophomore album, The MF Life. From there, the songs “Change The Record,” “This Time,” and “Wrong Side of a Love Song” were released to radio, but by October/November, she got cold. Maybe she likes being underrated; it gives her inspiration to sing about coming from the bottom.
