The We And The I (2012)
Directed by Michel Gondry
For some reason, I got a Harmony Korine/Kids vibe when first watching the trailer for The We And The I. The actual movie really isn’t like that though. It’s also not like previous Michel Gondry’s films either (Like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or Be Kind Rewind). The movie is about a group of high school kids and there bus ride home on the last day of school. No, Keanu Reeves doesn’t pop up and save the kids from a speeding bus. It’s a drama and you learn about these kids, who are mostly first time actors who share the name of the characters they play, during their hour plus ride home from school.
