If you were to take out the assonance and 40’s production, Drake’s mushy lyrics could be transformed into the sequel to 50 Shades of Grey. Drizzy already dresses like the main character of a romance novel so it’s clear his mindset is already in that proximity. The guy’s album titles sound like they could be used for book titles too. You just need to that subtitle to it and you’ll have a hit.
