You remember a few years ago when Jay-Z signed Willow Smith to Roc Nation and then him and Will Smith (her father) made plans to remake Annie with Willow as the star? No. Okay. Then I won’t have to explain the backstory on the remake of Annie other than that Quvenzhané Wallis has replaced Willow Smith in the starring role.
In the trailer you also see Jamie Foxx playing the role of Daddy Warbucks Benjamin Stacks as well as Cameron Diaz playing Miss Hannigan. And of course with Jay-Z’s involvement on the music side, it only makes sense to have “Hard Knock Life” featured in the trailer as well as the poster. Watch the trailer below.
