Yes folks once again I decided to dig through my collection of unreleased and rare stuff I had stashed away. This is the true OG version of Nas‘ “It Ain’t Hard To Tell” from 1992 when Nas was 18 or 19. He was spitting and all three verses are unreleased by the way. Same Michael Jackson “Human Nature” sample but it is used different than the Illmatic version. Since the 20th Anniversary of Illmatic is upon us, why not leak out some old shit for you listeners who haven’t heard this? I don’t know why he didn’t leak out the other unreleased cuts from the sessions besides “I’m A Villain” which I had for a very long time.
I also wanted to included the unreleased song “Deja Vu” which I had for a long time…. It has the same sample as Common’s “Orange Pineapple Juice” song from Resurrection. Not sure why “Deja Vu” was never used for a soundtrack song or a album cut. He was spitting on this shit. The first verse he end up using it on Raekwon’s “Verbal Intercourse” with Ghostface Killah.
