A quick word to any new R&B artist, cussing out the host of 106 & Park will not hurt your career. That’s what August Alsina did last week and now his album Testimony is the #2 album in the country. Granted, 67,000 units sold is kinda low for the #2 album but still. #RNS
I’m not gonna say much about Jason Derulo‘s new album because besides not listening to his music, I’m hating because he’s dating Jordan Sparks. Call me Jordan!
Nas dropped Illmatic XX last week to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his debut album. On the album charts, it still counts towards the sales of the original album. Good because Illmatic had a 844% growth in sales and it’s now at #18. Bad and weird because Illmatic has been out for 20 years but has only sold 1,686,000 copies.
Dizzy Wright enters the charts and it seems like great timing because Calvin 2.0 just wrote something about him. Dizzy’s project State Of Mind debuts at #54 and sells 6,800 copies.
