Of course with a title like “Betty Shabazz” some serious depth is going to be on display. This is no surprise coming from Rapsody as she’s an artist that doesn’t bother with the simplistic. The concept of the video is split into two parts. The first has Rapsody in mourning attire spitting that raw. The second half goes the grimier route with the beat changing up completely with 9th Wonder handling both sides of the production. Rapsody really will be a good problem for rap music and I gotta say, XXL really did mess up but not including her on their Freshman list.
