With ghostwriting being the current topic of discussion in Hip-Hop circles, I thought this edition of Song of the Week was due. Mad Skillz originally released “Ghostwriter” back in 2000 and all the names were censored and I remembering wondering who the hell he was talking about. I didn’t find out until years later who was mentioned but I already knew Foxy Brown, Will Smith, and Puff Daddy didn’t write their rhymes. The mention of Ma$e and Jermaine Dupri did kinda surprise me. Some things never change.
