Sheamus & Rusev vs Dolph Ziggler & Randy Orton
This was actually a pretty good tag team match. It feels like we’ve seen a few pay-per-views start with Randy Orton vs Sheamus, so it was nice to see a change even if it was a small change. The New York crowd were really into this match all the way through; Fans chanting Lana, USA, and of course the “You look stupid” chants (a chant that Sheamus will never get away from). Orton’s hot tag got a huge pop and its great to see how over Randy has been for the past year. Rusev’s promo after the match was gold and definitely a highlight of the night.
Overall: This match was really enjoyable. It has a nice fast pace with no boring spots which is always good. Nice match to start the show.
