The Numbers Game: Fetty Wap is #1

I’m still perplexed by Fetty Wap‘s success. In August, he became the first and only rapper to have their first four singles in the “Hot Rap Songs Chart” top 10 at the same time. And now his self-titled debut album is sitting on top of the charts.

I’m not saying that Fetty Wap isn’t talented. He obviously can make hits. But for the life of me, I can’t find any die-hard Fetty Wap fans. I mean people that consider Fetty their #1 rapper (Not counting that kid that lost his eye and what inspired by Fetty Way).

A little behind the scenes information: I couldn’t find anybody to review Fetty Wap’s album. And nappyafro has reviewed some bullshit in the past.

Fetty Wap’s debut album sold 129,000 copies last week. Don’t hold your breath on that review. Either way, congrats to Fetty.

OTHER NOTES

The Drake & Future album, What a Time to Be Alive, fell to #2 and sold 106,000 units last week.

Big Grams, which consists of Big Boi & Phantogram, dropped ther self-titled album last week and it grabbed the #38 spot and sold 11,000 copies. It’s a good chance you WILL see a review for that album. And here’s the review.
