It’s officially BBQ time! Memorial Day is usually the first day of the year that the smell of charcoal, smoke, and savory meat cooking fills the air fro city line to city line. Few things signify “summer” to me more than that good grillin’ and a feel good song. When this joint dropped back in 1995, I remember folks blaring it out loud in the rides much like another song that I’ll reveal in another SOTW. But for now, feed into my nostalgia. Fire up the grill, get your red plastic cups, the throwback super soakers with the huge water case and bad paint job, turn the speakers towards the outside, and turn this joint up, LOUD!
