I remember hearing that Michael Jai White was looking into making his film Black Dynamite into a cartoon series for Adult Swim and me thinking it was a great idea. Well, word is the animated version of Black Dynamite will finally be heading to the small screen in 2012 and the pilot episode has finally surfaced online.
Looking at the art style of the episode, it seems as if Cartoon Network brought in the same crew that was behind The Boondocks. On the voice side, they also got the talents of Michael Jai White (Black Dynamite), Bryon Minns (Bullhorn), Kym Whitley (Honey Bee), and Tommy Davidson (Cream Corn) all to reprise their original characters from the film.
