If you follow either myself (@saulewright) or the fro (@nappyafro) on twitter, you know we had a VERY interesting few days. I think for the most part, publicly, we kept our cool and played nice…well, this episode isn’t so nice. Names are named, stuff is said, and if it wasn’t for me editing some stuff out, addresses were given out by someone on the show. Few things I want to say before you press play.
1. In our venting, we forgot to thank the actual last few staff members that still rock with us. Shout out to CDG, Nate P, Calvin, and anyone else that posts and rocks with us regularly, or semi-regularly anyway.
2. We’re clowning, but there IS some truth to some of what was said. If you’re sensitive don’t listen.
3. We’re looking for writers, specifically people that are interested in helping with reviews and regular content for the site…this is a non paying job.

Also, Stitcher is giving out awards to the top podcasts in different categories and I for one think we should be nominated. So here’s what you do if you want to help:

I’ve nominated us for: Best Comedy, Best Social Commentary, Best Sports Commentary, Best Overall Show, Best Music Commentary, Best Entertainment and Pop Culture, and Best New Show. Now you can vote us for Best Cooking show too if you want, but um, we’re gonna look real crazy rocking that badge on the site.
For some, this is too much work, to have to keep doing this everyday to make it happen, but the more exposure we get, the better opportunities we have to make this shit bigger and better.
