The exciting thing about Childish Gambino is that there’s clear progression in each one of his releases. He gets better with each project he puts out, and Royalty continues that growth. Glover set the bar pretty high for himself with features that cover the cream of the crop from the past and present, yet he more than holds his own and definitely shines. The sky’s the limit and 2013 will definitely see Gambino making the next big leap. – GQ Blu
