The Numbers Game: Rich Gang Debuts At #9

Birdman

Birdman’s Rich Gang, which I assume is just another name for YMCMB & Friends, released their self titled compilation album last week. I’ve actually listened to the album a couple of times (Don’t ask why) and I really don’t understand the purpose. Was this originally Birdman’s album? Does releasing a compilation this close to DJ Khaled’s upcoming Suffering From Success make any sense? Either way, it sold 24,000 in it’s first week and grabs the #9 spot. Don’t expect a review though.

Also on the charts this week we saw Jay-Z‘s Magna Carta Holy Grail lose the #1 spot to Selena Gomez. Wait, is Selena Gomez all sexed up now since Spring Breakers? Not as much as I would have hoped.
