I Declare War

A movie about kids playing a game of war. Yup. That’s exactly what I Declare War stylistically does. You see kids argue, plot against each other, and shoot realistic (yet imaginary) guns. It’s like Lord Of The Flies for the new generation. One of my only grips is that today’s kids wouldn’t be playing a complicated game of war in the woods, they’d be playing Call of Duty instead. War is heck.
Notable Scene: That scene where one of the main characters PK says “This is war man, not fucking hopscotch”.
Should you see it?: Yes. Why not? It’s a war movie with kids. What’s not to like?
