The Numbers Game: Prince & Childish Gambino

This week Prince returned to the charts with two new albums: Art Official Age landed at #5 and Plectrumelectrum (with group 3rdEyeGirl) landed at #8. I don’t plan to listen to any modern day Prince music but it’s cool to see a legend towards the top of the charts (Even though sales are down all around).

I was surprised that Childish Gambino‘s surprise EP KAUAI landed at #18 seeing that it was, uh, a surprise EP. And that it featured Jaden Smith. Check out the companion mixtape STN MTN here.
