While everyone else is pulling a “Beyonce” by dropping surprise albums, Jermaine Cole is making another major move similar to Mr.&Mrs. Carter with their On The Run Tour last year. On January 9th, HBO will be showing the final performance of the well received Forest Hills Drive Tour that featured J.Cole with his Dreamville family (Bas, Cozz, and Omen), Big Sean, YG, and Jeremih performing in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
The hometown crowd welcomed their favorite son back in grandiose form and appreciated the special appearances from Jay- Z and Drake. To build anticipation for the upcoming special, HBO has been releasing online treats weekly in the form of Road To Homecoming showcasing the behind the scenes trials and tribulations of making one of the best albums of 2014, the Dollar and A Dream Tour, and the people behind the scenes that make going to a J. Cole concert worthwhile.
