Director Colin Tilley brings the abstract thoughts and visions of Jay Rock to life in the visual to the intro of Redemption. Cooking for his sons, being robbed by an old white woman, an indoor funeral, an outdoor surgery, and a movable bathroom are all apart of a day in the life of the TDE vet. Still on the fence about writing an official review; unofficially, I think Rock’s third album delivers on what we have been anticipating since “All My Life” back in 09.
