It feels like it’s been a minute since I heard or wrote about mashup pioneer and producer Girl Talk. I do remember seeing that he recently did something with T-Pain, but outside of that he has been quiet. I randomly came across a new song he dropped a few days ago with Sauce Walka, “Real Talk,” and it’s dope.
I’ve always liked when Girl Talk links up with rappers, and him connecting with the highly underrated Sauce Walka makes perfect sense. The simple visuals show Sauce rapping under a Houston bypass, letting the performance and the music be the focus.
