Friday Night ‘Fro: ‘He Knows You’re Not Alone’ [1980 Slasher Film]

Last week, I couldn’t sleep and I didn’t feel like getting out of bed to get my laptop to watch something. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and began to find something on YouTube. Normally, a rain sounds video helps me fall asleep, but I was awake enough to look at something before dozing off fully. I’ve been watching a different Horror film every day so I guess that explains the random reason why that I put “1980s Horror Full Movie” in the search bar. The thumbnail of the white woman screaming pique my interest in the hour and thirty-three-minute video. It figured it would be something long enough to help me fall asleep, unfortunately, it did not. I stayed awake and watch the whole film until 3 AM and I enjoyed it.

He Knows You’re’ Alone, directed by Armand Mastroianni and written by Scott Parker, is about a killer that only terrorizes women about to get married and that’s all the motivation necessary. Enjoy!

When the opening credits started, I thought about how this could be one of those films that feature someone from the cast (R.I.P James Rebhorn) that went on to a huge career. Earlier this month, I watched a 1989 high school Horror film called, Cutting Class that starred Brad Pitt. In the five seconds that followed that thought,  the name “Tom Hanks” appeared on the screen. Yeah, that Tom Hanks.
