Post-prison and post-snitching (depending on the street codes you adhere to), Gunna returns with a new song and a new music video in the form of “Bread & Butter.” Gunna addresses allegations in the track with lines like, “Never gave any statement or agreed to take a stand on them,” and maybe even disses Lil Baby with lines like, “You switched on me when you know you’re in business with a rat.” Will these lines prevent people from calling the former YSL rapper a rat? Who knows.
The black and white visuals show Gunna driving around in a nice car, smoking, and engaging in introspection. He is also accompanied by a crow (for unknown reasons). I assume there is more music to come. The song was produced by Turbo, Omar Grand, and Cam Griffin, and the music video was directed by Leff.
