It’s been a while since Big Sean has dropped an album or been fully active in the music scene. However, over the past week or so, the Detroit rapper has been making moves. He released a short film/vlog, a freestyle over a J-Dilla flip, and now, a new track and music video titled “Precision”.
I really like the song because Sean is essentially rapping over Three 6 Mafia’s “Poppin’ My Collar” (which samples “Theme of the Mack” by Willie Hutch). The hook is pretty catchy too (“pew-pew, ayy”).
The Onda-directed music video is cool and vibrant, showing Sean coming out of cryogenic sleep and gearing up to shoot a video. However, everything may not be as it seems. Check out the song and music video below. I’m sure an album from Big Sean is on the way.
