Drake drops a new track in the form of “What Did I Miss?” via a livestream called Iceman: Episode One.
The premiere was part live, part cinematic; think ice blocks, guns on tables, a branded Toronto van doing slow drives through the city. It’s all very calculated and dramatic. Aesthetically, this was more Sicario than Certified Lover Boy.
I’ll let everybody else break down the lyrics (like “I saw bro at The Pop Out with them but been dick riding gang since ‘Headlines’”) and the usual Drake themes of betrayal and loyalty. Some folks are already calling this “standard Drizzy.” Me? I like it. The beat’s icy, the delivery’s cold, and it fits where he seems to be headed.
So yeah… looks like Iceman really might be the name of the next album.
