Update: Added the music video for “1995”
So the rumors and the Japan-themed Alfredo 2 artwork were right, huh? I mentioned in our newsletter not too long ago that I was hoping we’d get Alfredo 2 soon, and it looks like that’s exactly what’s happening. Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist just dropped a short film titled Alfredo: The Movie.
The film takes place in Tokyo, and without spoiling too much, it features a fight scene, a training montage, some hilariously bad acting from The Alchemist, and yes, mascots getting slapped. What more could you ask for?
I kind of wish we got more music in the film, but we do at least hear a snippet of “1995” (which literally dropped in full while I was typing this). Alfredo 2 is dropping on July 25th.
