You saw the magazine cover, now get the music. XXL releases a compilation mixtape for it’s 2011 Freshmen class. It’s features all new music and also has the audio from the Freshman freestyle cypher videos. Now I won’t front, I’m not too excited to hear all the Freshmen, but you get a few things here worth the download. Some new K.R.I.T. (Since ReturnOf4Eva got pushed back), another 9th Wonder produced Lil’ B song, some new CyHi, and Mac Miller’s “Futuristic Funk” (I’m sure there other things but this is off the top of my head).
Also, before even hearing this mixtape, I will deduct points off if DJ Whoo Kid is annoying yelling on every track. If this is good hopefully a “No DJ Version” follows. Download link at the bottom.
