While I’m not a big fan of Tyga like my boy DuB is, I will admit that he has come a long way since “Coconut Juice”. I’m also intrigued with the way Young Money/Cash Money has been handling his upcoming album Careless World: Rise of the Last King (Which I think is NOT coming out on Dec. 20th).
First off, instead of making “The Motto” a bonus track on Take Care, just give it to Tyga for his album. I know Drake is shooting a video for it but since it has the whole California feel anyway, why not at least put Tyga on the official song instead of the street remix? You already got him picking through Drake’s unreleased songs looking for a single.
But then again maybe it’s not all YMCMB’s fault. Tyga did have a song with Pharrell, Game, & Snoop Dogg on it plus a kinda all-star remix of “I’m On It”. And what about that track Nas is suppose to jump on? Even with all that, what seems to finally give Tyga Tyga some traction is the strip club anthem of the year, “Rack City”. And seeing that he got bitches going topless in Toronto when he performed recently and looking at some of the track names on his new mixtape #BitchImTheShit, maybe that’s what he’s going for. Strip club music or music that make hoodrats have booty shaking contests on the porch in the projects (Shout out to King Jerm).
Sidenote: Is that a studded bandana on Tyga’s neck?
