Rick Ross feat. Drake & French Montana – “Stay Schemin'” [Video]

Earlier today Rick Ross dropped his Rich Forever mixtape (Which you can grab here) and shut the internet down. Dude basically gave away an album that for almost any other rapper would be career making; the bar for mixtapes may have been raised today. But it doesn’t stop there; Rozay also released a music video for “Stay Schemin'” featuring Drake & French Montana and the quality from the mixtape carries over. And yes, this is the track that Drizzy gets back at Common. Hip-Hop in 2012 has officially begun.

  1. Where the niggas at that still think Drake isn’t competent enough to take part in a real beef? This nigga went the fuck in!
That’s +2 for Drake on the diss tracks.

    1. None of the shit he said changes the fact that he bleeds lotion…not only is he obviously soft, he’s hiding behind Rick Ross thinking it makes him look hard. No one in the world is scared of Aubrey or Officer Ricky.

    2. How can you even support this as a response? How are is Drake gonna get called out for being sweet…and then act hard? EVERYONE KNOWS he’s sweet. He basically just caved into Common’s pressure…he compromised his own artistic identity…so he loses.

      1. In actuality, Common compromised his artistic identity. When has Com been going at niggas throats? This ain’t 1994 no more. Common didn’t even look right saying “motherfucker” in that song. Let’s be real here.

      2. At the end of the day, hip hop is about bars, not being hard.  Drake came back with some hard bars and stood up for himself like a man should. And you’re making it sound like this is the first time Drake has done a “hard” verse, listen to Comeback Season or even Lord Knows, Drake can go into his rapper mode if he wants to. I’ll take Common over Drake any day but Drake still responded on wax rather than taking shots on twitter or in interviews, and I have to give him props for that.

        1. This is Rickjamesbitch by the way, I was using a different name on another website but it carried over to here, I’m trying to change it back.

  2. Man look… I’m not really gon get into this whole sweet/soft shit cause it might be one of the most aggravating, pointless, and pea-brained arguments to ever expose itself in the rap world.

First off, all you niggas out there that wanna have an emotional connection to rappers to the point where you really care if they are soft or hard in real life need to jump off a cliff deeper than porn star pussy. Yall the same type of niggas that cry at the end of movies when a character you like dies.

I’ve been around a lot of these rap niggas and guess what, they all lame and wack as fuck. Surprise! Nigga it’s entertainment. Quit dick ridin these niggas “behind the mic” persona cause you don’t know em! For the most part I don’t know any of you niggas personally, so most of yall niggas yellin somebody soft probably a 3-D cupcake anyway.

So fuck off wit that hard/soft shit my nigga RAP is about as real as an episode of your favorite TV show. Enjoy the shit or change the channel.

    1. 100% of that comment makes no sense to me…I don’t know who you’re thinking of, but MY reasoning for not wanting to listen to that type of shit is that I just don’t want to hear it. I don’t like Drake…that’s just how it is. I don’t like hearing a grown man act like a teenage girl on his songs. End of story. Watching him get torn apart by Big Ghost and everyone else who does it now is entertaining for me because there’s so much ammo. It has nothing to do with whether or not I care about Drake’s image…it’s just entertainment for me to see people slander him.

      1. Aight well if that’s your reasoning that’s fine because that has nothing to do with his lyrical ability. I just hate when niggas try to undermine his skills cause he “soft”

        1. Don’t get me started on his “lyrical ability…” there are three videos that just completely turned me off from Drake. 1) The blackberry freestyle on Flex, 2) An old interview where he said he couldn’t freestyle, and 3) A VEVO interview that is now on private where he said something along the lines of “the artists that are rapping really fast are getting nowhere, you have to sing blah blah blah.” If he’s gonna just be blatantly disrespecting hip hop like that, I’m not gonna have any respect for him. And just a clear lack of a basic ability like freestyling is unforgivable if someone is gonna present themselves as a professional hip hop artist.

          1. Man get the fuck outta here wit that freetstyling shit! Thats he dumbest shit I ever heard. I don’t remember the last time I heard a nigga actually freestyle something dope. Slaughterhouse all use written verses in their freestyles. When Joell Ortiz got caught using his blackberry ain’t nobody say shit! That’s nonsense if you think these niggas be freestyling . And biting styles!?! You tryna tell me the entire rap game ain’t bite Drake style?! Man I’m done. Opinions are opinions but you hating my dude.

          2. Boston is a real Hip-Hop hotbed! Some of the best lyricists came out of Beantown…Benzino, Mark Wahlberg, Everlast, and the great Termanology!

          3. Okay I’m consciously gonna just let that one slide…I’m not gonna flip a shit…I want to but I won’t…

    2. its not hard to beat Ludacris and Common nowadays, so wow what an accomplishment. One good verse make a good rapper not.

      1. Oh so now niggas gon marginalize the situation buy saying it’s just “Ludacris and Common nowadays”… Can yall just admit yall hating so we can move on?

  3. More than that, he doesn’t have any unique qualities as a lyricist. He just reaches into his hat and pulls out a bunch of styles bitten from pioneers like Andre 3000, Jay, and Kanye, and then just shoves them all together and calls it a verse. It really just sounds like a random dude doing his best “rapper” impression.

  4. Y’all gettin way beside the point… Drake replied. He said some things.. I’m waiting for Common or someone else to call him out again, directly this time. No more subliminals, this shit is entertainment and I wanna see some verses traded and thats that

    1. Right! I’m tired of subliminal disses. Them rappers are too grown to not call somebody name out if they have a problem. Common going to eat him alive if he choose to push further with the diss. Diss records these days are so boring to me though. They don’t have that edge to it no more, sometimes the beat just don’t set the vibe these days. But yeah Drake did spit on this shit I can’t lie. I’m actually impressed

        1. So you’re telling me Common don’t have it left in him? That’s just like saying a former pro fighter who haven’t fought in about 5-10 years, don’t know how to fight anymore…. You don’t lose that, it may be rusty though. Same for Common, I’m sure he still have some tricks up his sleeve lyrically if this was to go down.

          1. I’m saying Common ain’t built like that anymore. Yeah he USE to be a battle rapper, but he ain’t did that in almost 15 years.

        2. That man better KNOW what time it is if he’s cool letting it be known that he was sending shots tho! I’ll be honest, I’m gon lose a lot of respect for Common as an MC if he backs down, that’s on some bitch-made shit to let another rapper come at you after you sent out a subliminal, and then not say a thing about it? Man I’m really hopin thats not how it is…

  5. Seems like rick ross bring out the best of drake
