Albums That Were Overlooked By The Grammys

I thought a number one debut in your opening week for your first album while signed to an independent label would get recognition amongst the Grammy board. They say sales don’t matter, but popularity does play a big part in getting major awards nominations. Pittsburgh’s own missed this year’s nomination for unexplainable reasons. The album had songs with impressive lyrics and production: “One Last Thing”, “Diamonds And Gold”, “Of The Soul” and my personal favorite, “Under The Weather”.

The release of his mixtape earlier this year, Macadelic proved that the young rapper can be serious when he wants to instead of just thinking about partying with his friends as shown on “Up All Night”. I hope that his next album, Watching Movies With The Sound Off will get him a gold gramophone.
