Apollo Brown & Guilty Simpson – Dice Game

Bottom Line: Detroit natives Guilty Simpson and Apollo Brown come together to release Dice Game. As Kendrick Lamar made an ode to growing up in Los Angeles with GKMC, the duo does their share in perspective to the Detroit scene. Guilty has made songs with elite producers such as Madlib, Black Milk, Oh No and the late J Dilla. However, I believe Apollo Brown brings out the best of Guilty as his flow sounds natural and unforced throughout the album. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that Apollo hooked him up with some bangers. Overall, this is a great album with a lot of replay value.
