Harry Fraud – Adrift
If you’re not familiar with “La Musica De Harry Fraud” you should do yourself a favor and check out the production on this tape. Adrift is a compilation of tracks Fraud has produced recently for artists including Stalley, Kool G Rap, and Pusha T along with previously unreleased music featuring Action Bronson, Mac Miller, and French Montana among others. Fiend – Lil’ Ghetto Boy
The No Limit vet’s latest collection is 22-tracks of self-assured rapping, yelling and crooning. Many of the beats are horn and soul-heavy and distinctly southern. This is an album custom-made for lazy summer days. (Download)

Yelawolf – Trunk Muzik Returns
I first heard Yelawolf on “You Ain’t No DJ” alongside Big Boi and his flow was unlike anything I had ever heard before. The son of Alabama definitely came into the game with a unique style and the title of this mixtape promises a return to the sound of some of his earlier work. Trunk Muzik Returns isn’t Yelawolf’s best work but it’s a solid tape and worth checking out. The project also features guest verses from Paul Wall, A$AP Rocky, Big Henry, Raekwon, and Killer Mike. Naledge & Willie the Kid – The Brainfly
This is the second month in a row that I’ve included a project from West Michigan native Willie the Kid. On The Brainfly he collaborates with Kidz in the Hall rapper Naledge. Both lyricists bring nice punchlines, smooth flows, and work well together. (Download)
