4. Tyler Breeze
In Hideo’s short time in NXT before he was taken out of action, he had made quite a few rivals, and on the top of that list is Tyler Breeze. Having countless battles against each other where both men would secure victories over one another, their rivalry never seemed to cool off. Tyler Breeze of course was one of the three competitors in the scheduled number one contenders triple threat match along with Finn Balor at TakeOver: Unstoppable. Taking out Hideo before the show would help increase Tyler’s chances of becoming the No.1 Contender and then winning the NXT Championship.
Unfortunately Breeze lost the Number One Contenders Match, and would debut onto the main roster later in the year. Breeze being revealed as the attacker would have made sense, but only if Breeze had captured the NXT Championship or if he was still a regular competitor in NXT.
