I’m not ashamed to say that the only entries in the series created by John Carpenter that I have seen in its entirety are the ones that featured rappers turned actors. LL Cool J starring in 1998’s H20 and Busta Rhymes in 2002’s Halloween: Resurrection were the main draws to get me to watch Michael Myers attack a group of teenagers. It’s only right that the next one I see features Jamie Lee Curtis not only reprising her iconic role but leading the film that erases all of the history that followed after the original 40 years later. A new beginning for me and the franchise once it opens. Hopefully, this will lead me visiting the other sequels.
