Seeing that I still consider Bandana the best album of 2019 (And probably a certified classic), I was excited to see that the duo of Freddie Gibbs & Madlib would be performing on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. Backed by the vintage funk and soul band El Michels Affair, MadGibbs show chemistry as they went through a set list that included “Education”, “Gat Damn”, “Soul Right”, & Freestyle Shit.” The whole thing is dope and is worth a watch. Best Tiny Desk Concert of the year.
