This is a random Song of the Week, and it’s based on a super hilarious Instagram post I saw the other day about the video for Ja Rule & Bobby Brown‘s “Thug Lovin'”:
“They really should’ve rescheduled… look at Bobby’s jaw.”
Look, who am we to say who was or was not on crack that day on the set of Ja Rule’s “Thug Lovin'”? I’ll also point out that I have always liked the song as well as the visuals for “Thug Lovin'”. A lot.
BUT I have always thought that Bobby Brown was a little too hype in that music video. Hell, he was hype as hell recording the song (Listen to those ad libs). Still, drugs or not, you can’t deny that jumping out of a helicopter while singing and dancing is cool.
Pusha T’s “Bobby Brown jaw” line from “So Appalled” will forever haunt Whitney Houston’s King of R&B.
