B.I.G.’s birthday, Common’s new album, Ludacris on The Simpsons, Cam’ron on vacation, nasty condom ads, & The Super Globetrotters

What’s going on people? Yes, once again it that time where I talk about random stuff in the world of Hip-Hop and things in the life of B-Bricks (That’s what they call me when I try to be gangsta). Anyway, first off, I would like to recognize that yesterday (Monday May 21st) was the birthday of Christopher Wallace or as millions knew him: The Notorious B.I.G. We miss you man, you were truly one of the greatest, or at least in my top 2. Dang, Biggie would have been 35! Oh yea, I would also like to say Happy Birthday to my partner in crime King Jerm (Okay, so his was on May 11th, I didn’t forget, I just didn’t put it up on the site). Let get started.

Common’s new album Finding Forever

Is it me or is this album not really generating a lot of buzz. I know it doesn’t come out until June 17th but damn. Hip-Hop needs an album from Common; a different voice than what’s out there now. BE was hot and on this album Kanye is producing most of it again. Well, maybe I’m just the only one interested. Well shit, here’s a song from the album to tide you over.

Ludacris on The Simpsons

If you know anything about me (or read the staff page) you know my favorite show of all time is The Simpsons. Ludacris was a guest voice this past Sunday on their 400th episode. Some Hip-Hop heads think he played him self, but personally I think it was funny. Luda was looking like Mr. Rogers torwards the end though. Hey, at least they didn’t have him with braids.

Cam’ron on Vacation

Did anybody else see the Cam’ron video with him on vacation? Kinda crazy if you ask me. I think Cam is loosing it a little bit. I mean, I don’t even have a pool but don’t you think 50 Cent’s closet is bigger than Cam’ron’s pool? I hope Cam can pull out a good album this summer. He needs to change the name of his album from Courtesy Curtis though. I guess Cam gets off vacation June 1st. Uh, watch out.
