50 Cent Tops Forbes’ Hip-Hop Cash Kings 2008 List

Damn, I didn’t wanna post this (We like to try to be original here). But hell, you know people wanna know who’s making what is the recession. Forbes‘ just released it Hip-Hop’s Cash Kings 2008 list and with the VitaminWater deal and all, I think everybody knew 50 would be on top. Of course the 2nd and 3rd spot is occupied by Jay-Z & Diddy. It’s funny; even though the South has been on top for a minute now, we still have three New Yorkers on top (Yeah, and on that note where is Jeezy?). But let’s be real people; are these the real “Hip-Hop Cash Kings”? If  50 Cent pulled in $150 mill what is Jimmy Iovine pulling in? It’s good to see artists like The Game and Weezy showing up on this list seeing as how much work they put in. Also, did you notice how Eminem, Dr. Dre, & Lil’ Jon are still on here? If you can sit at home for a year or so, not release new material, and still make more than artists like Akon, Weezy, & Jermaine Durpi, you doing pretty well…
