We kicked this idea around for like 2 weeks; have a Friday specific column that we put up videos in (It seems like we kinda slack off on this day). What kind of videos? Whatever we like: movies, trailers, music videos, just whatever we want. It doesn’t necessarily have to be directly related to Hip-Hop. Now the name took a minute since we all kinda didn’t know what to call it (Thic Saule hated it, H20 liked it, etc.). At the end of the day, I chose this one…I guess because it looked good on those movie tickets up there. In thies first edition, I take the helm and look at recent music videos from the week (I don’t watch music videos on TV anymore so it makes sense). At first I was gonna feature Halloween music videos, but come on, that would be kinda lame. Let’s go; I’m running late…
T.I. feat. Rihanna – “Live Your Life”
Wow, the way Atlantic is pulling down this music video off video sharing sites, you’d think this was the shit (There was even a trailer). It’s not bad though; just not worth all that. I still like this song even though it is a little too radio-friendly.

Akon feat. Lil’ Wayne & Young Jeezy – “I’m So Paid”
It’s so hard to watch listen to this track or watch this video when “I’m So Broke”. If you’d guess this video would have million dollar yachts, expensive exotic cars, and women…you’d be right.

Ace Hood feat. Trey Songz, Rick Ross, & Juelz Santana – “Ride (remix)”
Ace Hood had the comment boards jumping off the BET Hip Hop Awards’ Cyphers, so it seems right to check of his remix of “Ride”. I’m also a sucker for white background music videos ever since “Flava In Ya Ear”. The cameos here are also more than I expected (But then again, Ace is sign to DJ Khaled…).
