Batman: Assault on Arkham
Directed by Jay Oliva & Ethan Spaulding ~ Release Date: July 29th 2014

I’ve been checking out the new animated Batman movies DC & Warner Bros. have been releasing, and Batman: Assault on Arkham keeps up the trend of them being really good and not exactly made for kids (There’s a sex scene between Harley Quinn & Deadshot). Assault on Arkham is actually more about the criminal team members of the Suicide Squad with Batman playing a supporting role. It’s has dark humor, good animation, and was basically a comic book movie heist film. Seeing this movie coincided with me trying to catch up on all the Batman New 52 comics; after watching it I had to add the Suicide Squad comic series to the reading pile.

Notable Scene: The already mentioned sex scene between Harley Quinn & Deadshot. Duh.

Should you see it?: If you like Batman: yes. If you like animation not really for kids: again, yes.
